I'm simply wondering if I should be using V2 or V4 on a prod Site?

I am using 6.x-4.0-beta7+9-dev (2012-Jun-12) with the patch to fix #1099530: "0 users have been subscribed." on users Update option "Add subscription for selected users" on a production site. If you use the RealName module I would suggest to also apply the patch from #1772178: Provide a token that resolves into the recipient's RealName.

For me it is working better than 6.x-2.x did.

Since the patch to fix #1099530: "0 users have been subscribed." on users Update option "Add subscription for selected users" has now been committed, you are fine with the current 6.x-4.0-dev, which is 6.x-4.0-beta7+11-dev (2012-Oct-28). webadpro, did this answer your question?
