When I set up NodeReview for use only with Content Type Products, I can't find a link or tab anywhere on the Products detail view to add a review. (I've also tried enabling NodeReview for many other different types of content, also to no avail.)

When I go to Create Content and chose to create a Review, thus taking me to http://mysite.com/node/add/nodereview, I get a page that says:

Access denied

You are not authorized to access this page.

Yet, I am user#1, the user that shouldn't encounter this at all. Can anyone tell me what's going on here?

Since reviews are attached to nodes, I don't think you can add one by accessing nodereview via create content as you described. You can only add a review via the add review tab on a node, and this will only show up if you've set up this node type to be reviewed, and also have set up your permissions properly.

Yes, the node/add/nodereview menu item is not to be used. You should only even be able to get to it as uid 1, because I can't fully hide it from that user but I can for others. :-) Drupal 6's menu system will make it easier to completely hide that menu item, but until then I don't know of a way to kill it completely.

For those who are just having trouble setting up node review (as I was when I found this page):

- I'm using Drupal 5 and I am assuming that you have installed/enabled the module and made sure you have given the users appropriate access levels
- make sure that reviews are enabled for a content type (Administer>Content Management>Reviews)
- once you have enabled reviews for a content type, you will have a tab for that content type's reviews where you set the axes
- you need to have defined at least one axis for review in order for the review tabs to show in the content item
- go to the content item and use the new "Reviews" and "Add Review" tabs that have appeared beside View and Edit

Hope that helps the other newbies like myself just trying to test this module out!
