CCK fields from another node as default content for a new node: does this work with CCK taxonomy fields?

From the project page: "When creating related content, it is possible to use fields of the original node as default values for other fields in the newly created content".

Does this work with taxonomies? Is it also possible to use taxonomy terms from CCK taxonomy fields of an original node as default terms for similar fields in a new node ?
