I have the smartqueue and the view almost working.

I'm trying to replace the taxonomy/term/N listing with the view from the nodequeue taxonomy smart queue.

But... none of my nodes already catagorized are put in the nodequeues by default. Is that by design?

I'd like a 1 to 1 automatic-ness of having the nodes of the terms in the subqueues for those terms.

My main goal is to provide the people who manage the sections on my website with a drag and drop ordering of the taxonomy/term/N page. And this is kind of getting me there. I can add a block on those pages with a link to the nodequeue ordering page (I hope so, that is my next thing I'm going to try and do).

but I dont know about having to remind the editors to add their nodes to the queues as an extra step... they will forget, and so will I. So i'd like it to be added to the subqueue when the node gets saved/edited/created .... AH maybe that does happen! But my problem is I havent created/saved any nodes since setting this up.

Hmm. So maybe my problem is just with nodes that already exist?

I'll do some more testing on new/saving nodes. But if anyone knows how to get the 1-to-1 automatic-ness working for nodes that already exist, please post back.

Appreciative of any help related to this! Thanks.

#332461: Removing term from Node does not remove node from tax queue made me think that the nodes should be added automatically to the queues.

I tried making a new node, and it was not automatically added to the queue for that taxonomy term.

How do I get that working?

Did I miss a "automatic" checkbox somewhere?

I know this one is older, but I explained my reason in http://drupal.org/node/1154948#comment-4458398.
