Hi, I have the following problem: I want to add nodes to a nodequeue only if the checkbox "Promoted to front page" is clicked. At the moment every times if I create or change a node it is automatically added to my nodequeue. Besides it would be great if there would be a solution that the position of a node in the nodequeue will not change if I make changes in the node. I've found only the options to add the node on top or on the bottom of the queue.

Thanks a lot for help! Filburt

Sorry, I don't really understand the following parts of your support request:

"At the moment every times if I create or change a node it is automatically added to my nodequeue"

How is that set up?

"Besides it would be great if there would be a solution that the position of a node in the nodequeue will not change if I make changes in the node"

Changing a node position currently does not edit the node in any way, so I'm not sure what you're referring to here.

Thanks ezra-g for your answer. It is set up via actions. I followed the method I found here: http://www.davidnewkerk.com/book/121

The problem is: Every time I go the edit page of a node it will be automatically added to the nodequeue and the option "Promoted on frontpage" will be set.

What would cover my needs is that the node is only added to the nodequeue if I click "Promoted on frontpage" by myself.

On the mentioned website it is described how I have to delete the filter "Promoted on frontpage" in Views but of course the checkbox is still visible at edit pages and it confuses users who want to add content.

Any idea? Thanks a lot!
