Hi,
It seems generate_nodequeue only try to populate existing subqueues. It would be wonderful if it can get a list of taxonomy terms in the vocabulary and generate them as subqueues and then populate the subqueues.

ezra-g commentedIndeed it doesn't. This would be a very handy feature request, especially given requests like #373108: Document Auto/Bulk adding to queue.
aren cambre commentedIs this not really a bug? See #736480: Generate nodequeue assignments doesn't pick up all terms. Nothing in the UI suggests this shouldn't work natively.
kvantomme commentedyes, it is really confusing, user smartqueues has the expected behaviour as described here.
In the section "Batch operations to perform when this form is submitted:" you have a checkbox that allows you to create queues for existing users. And the module generates new subqueues automatically for newly generated users.
I guess this might be a new performance tweak, or just a plain old bug...
