Is it possible to make a nodequeue fieldable in the same way nodes and users (and other entities) are?

My use case: I need to add a field to a nodequeue.

Was just wondering about this as well.

One use case: Custom titles, for example if you want to do a short title in the queue but retain the longer title for detail pages.
