After updating Nodequeue to alpha2, I get the following errors:

Did you run update.php after the upgrade to 7.x-2.0-alpha2?

Of course. Installed with Drush up. These errors were generated due to embedded relationships in views. In order to fix the errors, I had to remove the relationship to nodequeue from Views. (I'm using the latest Views-3.0-rc1)

As far as I know, drush up olny updates the files, drush updb is for database updates. Can you please check update.php and see if there any updates that need to be installed? And what is your schema_version from the system table for nodequeue?

Actually, drush up (drush pm-update) DOES update the database. Drush pm-updatecode only uploads the module code itself.

However, I can assure you that I checked update.php many times during this debugging stage and it was always up to date, thanks to drush.

This, I think is related, because it looks as if nodequeue is trying to correct old data, but errors out.

Okay, I have a theory. (although I'm not a php programmer, per se) My view and its relation to the nodequeue table was created while using nodequeue alpha1. The problems started when upgrading to alpha2. I noticed in the release notes that the nodequeue machine names were changed in alpha2.

Is it possible that Views stores those machine names when referencing the nodequeue table? If so, then even though alpha2 is updating the nodequeue table structure, it may not be upgrading the machine names being used in the views definition. If this is the case, then I can pretty reliably predict that anyone who has a view that has a relationship with the nodequeue table is going to have errors when updating alpha1 to alpha2.

Did you have a previous nodequeue patch applied that converted qids to names? Line 18 from the views relationship handler only deals with 'old' qids (foreach ($options['qids'] as $key => $value) {) and I can't think of any reason for which you would get a notice in there.

Those errors show up again if you re-add the nodequeue relationship in views? And are you using the default views provided by nodequeue or custom ones?

Cross-posted :) Well, alpha1 didn't have machine names for queues, and that brings me back to the question from #7, that maybe you had a previous machine names patch applied.
