I have disabled the Nodequeue module (and anything that requires it) but for some reason it is still not listed in the "Uninstall" tab in the admin interface. In other words, I am unable to uninstall the module.

What is your Drupal version, 7.0 or 7.x-dev? And was this a clean install of Drupal 7.0 or you upgraded from beta releases?

And finally, was this a fresh install of nodequeue 7.x-2.0-alpha2 or an upgrade from 7.x-2.0-alpha1 or 7.x-2.0-dev?

My Drupal version is 7.0. It was a clean 7.0 install.

This happened with an older 7.x-2.0-dev and then I upgraded to 7.x-2.0-alpha2 because I figured maybe the bug had been fixed.

Can you upgrade to tomorrow's 7.x-2.x-dev and see if it fixes your problem? I just commited a patch that implements hook_uninstall for removing nodequeue's variables and maybe now you can uninstall it properly.

I tried today's 7.x-2.x-dev and after enabling the module and then disabling it again, I could uninstall it properly. Thank you.
