I'm building a Drupal site for a performing arts theatre company. When we put on a show, we get reviews from local critics, and we like to put the good reviews on the site. You can see this in development here: http://dev.auroratheatre.org/index.php?q=node/12/show. There is no definitive order to the reviews - the PR manager just wants to be able to put the best ones first (ie, order them arbitrarily).
This seems like a job for nodequeue, but I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around the UI for it.
I have a content type called "Productions," and another called "Reviews" that links to it via a Node Reference field. What I would like to be able to do is automatically create a list of all the reviews associated with a production, and then drag them around to appear in the order that I would like them to. Ideally, I would do this without having to create a separate nodequeue for every show, and then manually adding all the reviews to it. I would like this to be as intuitive as possible, as the PR manager hates computers and I want her to be able to update her own content. Ideally, once you submitted a review for a show via "Add Content," you would automatically be taken to a list of all the reviews for that show with the ability to place the new review in whatever order you pleased. Or something similar.
Is nodequeue the right tool for this job? Or should I be looking at one of the other ordering modules?
Thanks.
