Hierarchical URLs and Non-hierarchical URLs for 1 content type?

Im trying to set up hierarchical URLs so if node1, node2 and node3 are all children of nodeA then the URLs will be:

mysite.com/nodeA
mysite.com/nodeA/node1
mysite.com/nodeA/node2
mysite.com/nodeA/node3

However only a few nodes use node hierarchy, and the rest have URLs based on taxonomy. In actual fact the parents nodes have URLs based on taxonomy also, so my actual URLs need to be:

mysite.com/taxonomyterm/nodeA
mysite.com/taxonomyterm/nodeB
mysite.com/taxonomyterm/nodeC
mysite.com/taxonomyterm/nodeA/node1
mysite.com/taxonomyterm/nodeA/node2
mysite.com/taxonomyterm/nodeA/node3

All the nodes (hierarchical and regular) are the same content type. Does this module allow me to set the URLs like I need?
