Hi,
I installed NH and it is working great. I have a genealogy site and this is perfect to connect children to parents.

It person in my site has a node created with the title as their name. I now have a new tab on each node that is titled children. I have connected all my children to their parents.

The problem that I am having is that all of these titles are now in my navigation menu (disabled). My navigation menu is now huge and takes forever to open. I only have 200 people in my database and plan to have thousands in the future. I can't have all these names showing up on the navigation menu. However, the format of the navigation outline is very helpful showing the relationships for each person. Is there a way to show this as an additional tab on each node after the children node? I could call it an Ahnentafel Table or Pedigree Chart and have it start with the node title as the first person and show all the descendents for that person. If this is not possible, how can I move all the names on the navigation menu to a new menu with a view called Pedigree Chart or Ahnentafel Table that is a link in the Navigation menu?

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this.

Karen

Head over to "admin/settings/nodehierarchy"
Under the "Node Type Settings" fieldset drop-down the relevant "Content Types"
Change the "Show item in menu" setting to "Never"
