Future of this project?

This project is integral to a site I am involved with (currently on Drupal 6, but I'd like to move it to Drupal 7). Thank you to all those who have contributed to date.

I'm concerned that this project appears to be abandoned by the current maintainers. Does anyone know whether the current maintainers plan to resume committing patches or is it time for someone else to step up? I'm not sure that I have the skills to maintain this particular project, but I think everyone would benefit if there was clarity over the maintenance of this project and the Drupal 7 branch received some love...
