Hi, everyone
I want to disable the feature of choosing the Node Hierarchy parent in creating the node form, but only for specific groups of users.
For example: I have two roles: authenticated users and editors. Editors may create nodes by "Create content/[node type]" and "Create new child" links, then choose the parent of created node. The authenticated users on the other hand, may only use the "Create new child" items in existing nodes and don't see the node hierarchy/parent combo or see it as inactive in the node creation form.
Is it possible? Has anyone tried to do this?
I hope my problem is clear. Cheers!

jbylsma commentedI think your issues were somewhat covered in #1073246: New option: require selecting a node parent. I had a similar case and wrote a quick module to help, which is at http://github.com/jbylsma/nodehierarchy_add_children_only. Is that enough to get you started/going?

miziaq commentedShould be enough :)
When I change the code particullary the way I want it to work, I will submit it.
Thank you!

jbylsma commentedSounds good! I'm going to set this to "fixed" for the time being.
