I have a use case that seems like it might be common but i am a bit stuck and hoping for help. I want to use this module to add "create child node" links to the bottom of certain nodes. I want to limit appearance of this link by content type. So far, all straightforward.
However i have a workflow in which nodes can be designated as "active" using either a workflow state or a cck field that can be set by user. I want the link for creating a child to appear on active nodes but not to appear on nodes that are not active.
Seems like something that needs some extra logic. Any ideas how i could do this?

jbylsma commentedHave you looked at using the views module included with NH? That sounds like it would fit your bill; you could filter which nodes are shown based upon your criteria and then embed the view on your page.

harcher commentedI think he means adding the 'Add child' link, not adding a view of child nodes.

entrepreneur27 commentedHga7 is correct. The question is about how to add an extra selector to decide which nodes display the create child link.
