7.x-1.9 crashes Drupal after update from dev version

Hello, thanks for the update to 7.x-1.9! However, I ran into a problem while updating the module - after Drupal downloaded and installed the new version, it asked to update the database. After doing so, all I got was an empty white screen. Trying to access other pages on the Drupal site resulted in the same. It was only after I reinstalled the previous Dev version by manually removing the new modules and pasting in the old ones was able to access to do a database recovery with Backup and Migrate.
