The Node View Mode module enables content editors to choose how a field collection field is displayed on a node, by selecting which view mode should be used.

Module name
The module name is 'Node View Mode', but 'Field Collection View Mode' is a more accurate name, since it effects field collections rather than nodes, so using that as the project title as it should help more people find this page.
Don't have time to rename the module for the moment, but when I do, I'll make sure the transition is well tested and seamless.
