On the reminder email the field [node:event-start] is 4 hours off. Example: event-start is 9:00am and the email says 1:00pm?

PLease help.

This has to do with the website's timezone versus the server's timezone. Or maybe even the current user's timezone...

If you are technical or can ask someone, this is where the relevant magic happens: http://drupalcode.org/project/node_registration.git/blob/HEAD:/includes/...

I'll look into it early next week, if I remember. You can message me if you stil need it in a few days and I haven't posted here by then.

I haven't verified, but I assume you consider this a bug. If you're right, it is and it still exists.

Hi ..Please forgive me if i am writing blunder ..

I had this problem .. my [node:event-start] was found to be I hour behind always. Here is how I did overcome it
1. created another date field on the content type like filed_image_event_start.
the in field settings I selected no-time zone conversion
..As you just gussed now ..i tried a rule..

2. created a rule which will automatic save the value of [node:event-start] to our new filed_image_event_start.

in execute php code

        $actual_d_ob_array = $node->field_event_start;
	$a_dob = $actual_d_ob_array['und']['0']['value'];
	$start_date = $actual_d_ob_array['und']['0']['value'];
	$tz = new DateTimeZone('Europe/Rome'); // my time zone
	$offset = $tz->getOffset(new DateTime($start_date));
	$start_stamp = strtotime($start_date) + $offset;
	$date = date('Y-m-d H:i:s', $start_stamp );
	 $node ->filed_image_event_start.['und']['0']['value'] = $date;
	 drupal_set_message(  $date );

node_save($node);;

3. in reminder setting i put the new token

4.it worked even it seems strange.. so the token creation has some problem i think..

The whole timezone thing is very annoying. But it is a bug and you're not writing blunder.

I'm going to look into it right now, because now I've time and it's annoying me. I'll keep the site's timezone as base, not the user's.

I THINK I've fixed it in http://drupalcode.org/project/node_registration.git/commitdiff/94cd9650c...

If you can verify this, I'll create a new release for this.
