Wouldn't it be a good idea to allow the conversation of other bundles then nodes. I would like to convert profile2 entities, but this seems to be out of scope of this module. Or is there anything else I could use for that beside Rules? Thanks

This is interesting for me too. I would like to convert taxonomy terms (with fields) to nodes.
