I do not have any direct experience with these modules. Reviewing the project overview pages, I suspect that in both cases Node Access Relation should function side-by-side with user_field_privacy and privacypu modules, however, an an object referenced by a relation would not inherit the custom field-level permissions created by those modules.

Try it out and let me know what you discover. If it doesn't work like you'd expect, please pot your specific use case and I can see if node_access_relation could be extended to provide a solution.
