Currently, multiversion takes over the "Revisions" tab, yet does not offer the same functionality, such as reverting to a previous revision.

There is a ticket for dealing with the "Revisions" tab and how it should be handled by multiple modules here #2626166: Create a view for content revisions.

However, in the short term, how do we avoid this loss of functionality?

Title: Make Revisions higher priority than multiversion's version » Loss of functionality on Revisions tab
Project: Workbench Moderation » Multiversion
Issue summary: View changes

I'm moving this to Multiversion. I misled some to think that Workbench alters the Revisions tab. It does not. The ability to revert is part of core functionality.

Two options I see to address this loss of functionality are:

  1. Remove the Multiversion modifications of the Revisions tab altogether
  2. Have Multiversion add a tab like "Revision History" instead of modifying the Revisions tab

I am included to suggest the latter, given the tree that Multiversion provides can be useful.

Thoughts?

I install and enable Multiversion, and the revisions tab no longer functions as expected. There's help text saying I can revert to older revisions, but the functionality no longer exists after enabling Multiversion. I'm running Drupal 8.4.3 and Multiversion 8.x-1.0-beta7.
