Hey,

I needed multiselect to work with Entity Reference, so here is a patch that seems to work. Unfortunately I did this on the latest stable and haven't tested it on the latest dev version, but it doesn't seem like there has been any big changes so it should work for the dev version as well.

Simple tweak and it works just fine for me too against 7.x-1.9. RTBC - hope it makes its way in soon.

Forgot to say, also tried it against 7.x-1.x-dev (which is 2 days older than the 1.9 release) and works just fine too.

To be precise: it's committed on the DEV (7.x-1.x-dev) version.
So I did this patch to add entityreference to the help text.

Maybe it would be nice to tell it on the project page...
