Hi,

second try again the same issue:

First I created an event with volunteer timeslots enabled. After creating that event I couldn't access the administer content page anymore or any NOT main site and the apache log did show segmentation fault as reasons.

The only way around it was to start from scratch aka purge the whole database.

Second try..

Created a test post in the forums, after finish I get a blank page with a segmentation fault again.. the normal stuff still works but the forums are toast. Disabling Multi Domain make the forums work again, strangley I have 3 posts in the forums now.

Looking at all the other issues with this modul and the missing documentation and developer feedback it makes me wonder IF this modul works at all except for assigning different templates and some other minor stuff.

I would really like to use the feature but it doesn't look that it was tested a lot against the different capabilities of drupal.

Any Idea on how to fix the issue?

I agree it hasn't been widely tested, but this is the first time I've heard of seg faults. I agree about the lack of support too. But in my case, it's the only thing that does what I want, so I'm sticking with it.

What Apache and PHP are you running? And what additional modules.

It is entirely possible to do multiple domains from the one codebase without using this module. This module makes it simple to eg. share users between the multiple domains.

I also recommend going to:

http://drupal.org/project/issues/multidomain?states=8,13,14

...and applying the patches that are marked in green (there should be 4 of them).

tried those patches... still a gpf... now even on the frontpage... I guess it is because I put a forum node onto it.. ;-(

But I can't even access the blocks administration anymore with the multiple Domains module enabled, because of the Active forum topics module ..

It could be that the advanced forum module is the culprit.. but I don't know, I removed the module from the blog, I even disabled the advanced forum stuff but I still now even get a gpf on the mainpage..

so I guess this idea is finished for me... no multiple domains content based on tags ;-(

Hmm. Well, I've recently discovered http://drupal.org/project/domain , so you might want to try that.
