The mpub distribution provides a fast and efficient way for organisations to publish multiple maps and a project database.
This distribution has been developed for the Enhancing Pacific Ocean Governance (EPOG) project, although it may serve useful to other organisations also.
EPOG aims to assist in the implementation of the Framework for a Pacific Oceanscape, which identifies strategic priorities and actions throughout the region to achieve sustainable development, management and conservation of the Pacific Ocean.
The mapping capabilities support integration with one or many WMS servers such as Geoserver by using the openlayers module.
An extra layer of abstraction has been added to the administrative interface to make it easier to create layers from WMS servers and add them to Map Pages.
Map pages are presented with grouped collections of layers with map controls and associated layer metadata.
This profile depends on the following libraries, which you will need to download and placed in the profiles/mpub/libraries folder (they can't be included in the distribution because of separate licensing):
