More node buttons breaks validation?

I'm trying to use the More node buttons module. It works as advertised except for two things.

When editing from the admin/content page the Save and continue does not work. It brings me back to the admin/content page because of the ?destination query string

Also validation for a ad or edit form no longer works except for required fields.
