forestmars commentedSorry to reopen, but I'm still not seeing it. The project page currently says:
Perhaps a note indicating the current beta only contains the session submodule? Sorry to be nitpickety...
dawehnerThis module is for drupal7. The drupal6 backport has limited features.
Perhaps you could write a text for it.
forestmars commentedI could definitely write that text; what I meant though was that the drupal7 beta only has the session sub-module in it. So the description should probably read, instead:
As I said, nitpickety, but I did mean 7, not 6.
Howev. I would like to see a bit more information about 6- I understand mikeryan's patches were for node_save in 6, so that suggests that other submodules not yet in the 7 beta may be nearly ready for production in 6…?

jason ruyle commentedIt would be helpful to have an actual "default" example.
This code is wrong btw. But hoping someone can provide a better example.
jspapas commentedHi Jason, did you manage to find any information regarding how to use this module? I've installed it but there is no documentation and nothing shows up in the admin pages.
How can I make my sessions be stored in MongoDB???
Ben Howes commentedI dunno if this will be any use to anyone, but I bothered to look at how it works and did the following:
pecl install mongoto get mongo installed. This might vary on your system, but should be good for most linux distros I think. This should put sessions in one db and everything else in a separate DB, which suits my application, but if you want it all in the same db you can remove the $conf['mongo_collections'] section.
This seems to work fine for me!

verta commentedJust a comment, I'd appreciate seeing some text in the main module page/documentation that explains what this module is and does from the perspective of someone who knows how to install a module but does not know when or why this module should be used.
I just got here, I read what is online now, and I still have no idea.
Sometimes you have to start at the beginning ...
