It would be great if we could put http proxy information in for when we try to update the hooks docs. Or at least if there was some documentation on the form about how to manually download.

Its a problem that makes this module hard to use behind a firewall which is common for corporates.

I don't know enough about this sort of thing to go about fixing it.

In the meantime, I've added an error message shown when the download of hook data fails; this gives the URL of the CVS server.

I'll leave this open -- patches welcome :)
