No matter which hook or hook preset I select, the module only writes a skeleton for hook_help and nothing else. Am I missing something?

I have this issue too when using the UI. It's fine via Drush.

I never use the UI any more....

Can anyone do some debugging of this?

I suspect this may be due to the core hooks not being processed properly in module_builder_update_documentation(). At least, there's a bug there :)

Nope. I just tried cloning both the master and 7.x-2.x branches -- master causes a 500 error (I'm guessing because it's the Drupal 4 version or something), 7.x-2.x exhibits the same behaviour as before (Tried clearing cache also).

Yup, you want to be on 7.x-2.x.

Did you download the hook data again? That's what you need to refresh, rather than the cache.
