Is it okay to setup Mobile Tools without a Desktop URL entered in the configuration settings?

We have 2 web servers running our site (server1.domain.com and server2.domain.com). Before, when I set the Desktop URL = www.domain.com, if I tried to go to server1 or server2.domain.com, it would redirect to www.domain.com.

This is a problem since we need to be able to access both servers directly for testing purposes.

To solve it, I left the Desktop URL blank in the configuration settings and only have the Mobile URL set. I haven't noticed any problems yet, but just want to ensure it won't cause issues later.

If you aren't having any problems then I would just leave the settings as they are now. Mobile Tools does not make any modifications to your site that are difficult to undo, so you can simply configure the Desktop URL at a later point if the issues with it are fixed.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure I can omit that without any ramifications, as it seemed like a key piece to have. I didn't want to discover omitting it would cause problems after implementation.
