I'm using menu_tools_roles to give mobile anonymous users a mobile role. I then use this role to hide certain menu items for mobile users (Menu Per Role module). I was having a lot of trouble getting this to work consistently across all pages... I started to guess that module weight matters here, because the mobile role is applied on hook_init. I lowered the weight of menu_tools_roles to -1 and everything worked as expected. I assumed that this happened because I made weight lower than that of the menu module. Could be wrong tho.

Anyone care to chime in on if this was not the problem?

Did you adjust the weight of Mobile Tools or Mobile Tools Roles?

This is now fixed by #1622970: Assign Mobile Tools a heavy module weight so that it runs after other modules.
