Hello,
I installed Mobile tools and made the following config:
-Have set the same url for both sites (mobile and normal)
-Have Enabled automatic redirection of the mobile user
-At theme switching i have chosen Switch theme for a mobile device *
-Drupal caching is off anc cache cleared
When i am anonymous user it does not work (even if i try /?nomobile=false, device=mobile)
Then if i log in and navigate to the homepage from a smartphone, i see the mobile version and /?nomobile=false/true works great.
Am i missing something here? It is not a permissions issue as i created an anonymous mobile role and granded ALL the permissions that a super admin has (I knwo not very smart) - it did not work either. I have tried all possible combinations.
No error seems to be written in the log. Also tried many different combinations of configuration with no luck.
Obviously i am missing something but can not find what.
Thanks in advance to anyone being able to help!

twom commentedThanks for reporting this issue. Do you have this issue with the dev branch?
In your configuration, can you disable the automatic redirection option? Since your desktop and mobile url are the same this option is not needed.
Thx,

richdrich commentedI'm getting the same issue after:
- installing the mobile plugin
- installing Nokia Mobile theme
- enabling themes
- enabling automatic device detection
- leaving all else default
It's with an Android running 2.2.2 and browsing over WiFi to a local server.
What/where is the "automatic redirection option"?

richdrich commentedFixed it.
Go to home/administer/user management roles
select anonymous user
edit permissions
enable "mobile plugin"
Doh!

j4 commentedHi,
Could you be a bit more specific? Am not able to enable mobile plugin there, the only thing editable there is the name of the user.
Thanks

yashadev commentedYou need to edit the permissions for the anonymous users in your settings.
As richdrich said,
1. Go to yourdomain.com/admin/people/permissions or equivalent on D6.
2. Enable "mobile plugin" for the Anonymous users

mibfire commentedTheme switching is not working for me neither as anonymous user. There is no mobile plugin on the permission page.
