This small module allows you to configure the minimum password length for all users on the site. Passwords are not affected, simple verification has been added. You can configure minimum password length on the /admin/config/people/accounts page.
This issue is created 10+ years ago, but still not resolved, and contrib module born at one evening!
The alternative module Password Policy is too complicated for this little thing.
It also corrects the password reset form for the case when the user clicks Save and gets a zero-length password as a result.
Alternatively, you can apply a patch for this.
