Using Drupal-to-Drupal migration UI I can't seem to migrate user picture files and other image files in the same migration group. User picture files a more defined path than other image files do.
Example
All image files are in /home/pacmaninbw/backups/public_html/sites/default/files.
user picture files need the file prefix /home/pacmaninbw/backups/public_html/sites/default/files
Other image files need the file prefix /home/pacmaninbw/backups/public_html/
Using the Drupal-to-Drupal migration UI I can either migrate user pictures or other images but not both in the same migration group. Possible suggestion is to have 2 file prefixes on the file transfer page.
This may cause an ownership problem for the other images since the users have to be migrated with the user pictures (Dependency in the UI).

pcher1bw commentedWorkaround
Go through the Drupal-to-Drupal migration UI a second time to specify the source location of the files besides user pictures, ugly but it works.

mikeryanBoth pictures and other files are stored in the D6 database relative to the Drupal docroot (e.g., sites/default/files/pictures/picture-3.jpg), so they should work the same. When I run the wizard for my personal site and enter "http://mikeryan.name/", it works just fine for both. Looking at the source code, there is a fixUri callback on the 'value' mapping in the D6 picture migration that isn't on the file migration, maybe that's tripping things up in your case? Here's a patch with that removed, please try and see if it helps.
