I had installed Metatags in Drupal 9.4.0-rc2 and I cannot see the defaults type like Global, Fron Page, 403 Access Denied, 404 Page Not Found, etc...

In the sistem report Status show me the next message:

ENTITY/FIELD DEFINITIONS

Mismatched entity and/or field definitions
The following changes were detected in the entity type and field definitions.
Metatag defaults
The Metatag defaults entity type needs to be installed.

I tried to apply the patch that is commented in https://www.drupal.org/project/metatag/issues/3266326

But not solve my problem

Are there another solution to solve this problem?

I'm sorry you've ran into that problem, thanks for reporting it.

I haven't tried updating any sites to 9.4.x yet, will be doing that soon.

Now that 9.4.0 is out, have you tried updating to it?

I'm having the exact same issue described by @oksm-x with the same status message as shwon in the screenshots.
