Hey all,

I'm hoping someone can try and recreate this issue to see if it is, in fact, a bug or something with my setup.

I'm using Metatag 8.x-1.10 with the Open Graph, Open Graph Product and View extensions also enabled. For all of the default meta tag types (i.e. Global, Front Page, Content, Product, etc) I can see and set Open Graph Product meta data. However:

  • when I go to "Add default meta tags" and use the dropdown to select a new "Content" type, the Open Graph Product meta data section is removed for the type. This seems logical given that these content types are not products, but other extensions such as the Twitter Card extension also disappear. See the gif below.
  • BUT, some other types when selected, such as any Media and User, don't hide any of the extensions. It seems dependent on the type I select, but I can't understand the logic behind it.

I should note also that I have the Schema.org Metatag 8.x-1.4 module and some of its extension activated, too. I can uninstall these and the problem still persists with Open Graph Products and any other Meta Tag extension, so I don't think it has anything to do with that module, although it is still affected.

Did you happen to modify the list of groups which were available for different content types on the Metatag settings page?

Ahhhhh... that was it. Excellent. Sorry about that.

This is working as expected then. Thank you.
