Hello,

Thank you for a great module!

But can we remove the "ImageCache Token module" and "Transliteration module" warnings from the Status Page?
The additional modules do not seem to be required for the proper functioning of a site, especially one not using image meta tags.
So they would appear to be recommendations, not warnings.

A warning on the Status page is usually a sign that some action is required to fix something on the site.
A recommendation like this shown as warning - on a site that does not use Image meta tags - results in a permanent warning on the Status page.
For a complex site with many modules, it makes the Status page much more difficult to understand.

Please consider removing the warnings.
The recommendations could be given as an additional note in the Metatag status itself.

Thank you!

Here is a patch that suppresses the warning messages for the site status. Its probably not the best way long term to go about fixing it, but I don't think the module should be recommending optional modules this way.

We aren't going to use imagefield_token in commons because it doesn't have any recommended releases yet, hence the need for this patch.

Thank you!

So does this mean the next release of Metatag will not show those warnings?

How about this? It changes the messages to REQUIREMENT_INFO.

I've committed the patch above from #4, and have offered to co-maintain Imagecache Token so that it can have an actual working release too: #2311195: Offer to co-maintain Imagecache Token
