Are there any plans to port this to D7? If so, does anyone have any kind of idea on how I might start to relate the MeSH db to the Biblio module using the PubMed keywords import function? That would be an awesome accomplishment, but I'm at a loss as to how to begin.

Could you elaborate on how this would integrate with the PubMed keywords import? I'm certainly looking for ideas of how to re-engineer this module to be more of a helper module for sites rather than a standalone solution.

I do not have a lot of time right now to dedicate to this module, but I'm happy to collaborate or work with anyone that has the time and effort required for this upgrade.

Not that I know of unfortunately. I'm not in a position to undertake that effort, so this will likely have to wait until a co-maintainer can step up.
