Saving a node with an existing menu item as a user with the mapm permissions (and not administer menus) will cause a error to display on the next page, and the menu item will be reset.

Closing in favor of #2796537: Saved menu is reset on node form. Menu editable even if user has no access to saved menu. Menu edit form is not visible on the node edit page.. Posted minutes before this one.
