Hi to all,
i'm getting a serious trouble with this module and i cant solve it.

I have it installed on many websites and in all of those often i get the same problem.
Basically Mamchached caches the forms and stuff and wont flush the cache.

For example i have an order in commerce, during the order memcached cache some forms and data.
When the order is finished in the back end the order seems "empty" or with wrong data inside, if i try to clear the cache nothing happens.

If I restart memceched or i disable it in the settings, everything is working nice.
This is happending in various situation with different installations and servers and wont get solved also after the cache expiration time.

Any help or suggestions?

There's a lot of possible misconfigurations that could cause this. Have you carefully followed the instructions in the README.txt that comes with the file? Perhaps post the relevant section of your settings.php to this ticket, together with what version of which PECL extension you're using? Also, how many memcached servers are involved?

Hi,
thanks you for the answer.

Actually i dont think it depends on the PECL version, cause i got those trouble with some old version and now i'm getting the errori with the 5.2.

The settings.php is well configured and anyway here the conf:

include DRUPAL_ROOT . '/sites/all/modules/memcache/memcache.inc';
$conf['cache_backends'][] = DRUPAL_ROOT . 'sites/all/modules/contrib/memcache/memcache.inc';
$conf['cache_default_class'] = 'MemCacheDrupal';
$conf['memcache_key_prefix'] = 'prefix_name';
$conf['memcache_servers'] = array(
  '127.0.0.1:11211' => 'default',
);
$conf['memcache_bins'] = array(
  'cache' => 'default',
);
$conf['page_cache_invoke_hooks'] = FALSE;
$conf['page_cache_without_database'] = FALSE;

I got the problem also with page_cache_without_database set to TRUE.
It happens in something like 2 or 3 different webservers and i had to solve this with a cronjob that reset the memcache memory;(

Thanks

Are you saying there's multiple web servers involved in this one website, with a shared database? If yes, then the configuration you've pasted in is your problem. You need to point to all memcache servers by actual IP address (not by localhost / 127.0.0.1) from all web servers in the memcache_servers array. Otherwise, you're setting yourself up for cache coherency problems as you're only going to be flushing a subset of your cache causing odd inconsistencies.

NOpe, sorry i'm saying that i have this problem in many different projects.
So different server, different installation, different db etc etc.

Make sure you exclude cache_form from Memcache.
