Hi,

The memcache module comes with 'Memcache' & 'Memcache admin'
When I enable the Memcache admin-module, I can see some memcache-stats (hits/misses/etc...)

But why should I enable the 'Memcache'-module?
I still get the same results when I view the query log.
Memcache will cache the queries even when I don't enable it.

Any advice?

There's no need to 'enable' the memcache module in the Drupal module configuration. You simply need to add the configuration for memcache to your settings.php file.
