Folder Names with special chars

When creating a folder as taxonomy term with spaces in it, the directory name in the file system will have the spaces to.

I created a folder like 'test media plus' so i got a directory called 'test media plus' and the file display in the node was broken.
I suggest to replace special chars with scores or underscores in the directory name.
