How do you import media from the filesystem in 2.0?

Since we were forced to migrate to 2.0 and 1.6 worked flawlessly...
we're now missing the import feature in 2.0.

How can we import files, namely audio, from the local filesystem, please?

It's rather urgent.. we need to do this on a daily basis.

Requires: Media (enabled), File Entity (enabled), Field (enabled), Field SQL storage (enabled), File (enabled), Chaos tools (enabled), System (enabled), Image (enabled), Views (enabled), Multiple forms (>= 7.x-1.3) (incompatible with version 7.x-1.0), Plupload integration module (enabled)

Media Bulk Upload (I assume that's how you'd do it) say in red, "(incompatible with version 7.x-1.0)".
version 7.x-1.0 of what? We're using Media 2.0
