Hi,
sorry to ask this stupid question, i guess there's a simple solution to this but just can't find it.

I'm using media 1.x branch and have added a "description" field to my images. I f i have well understood, this is now possible because medias are now "entities".
But i couldn't find a way to have some contextual links to my medias (form admin role) to edit them directly from my node page.
I'm not sure if it's a bug with my config, or if it's just not possible.

I was used to do this using field-collection, i had a media field and a description field, and could access to the edit node directly from my node page.
As it's now possible to have fields for medias i would prefer to use this option. But i really need to be able to have some contextual edit links !

Yes contextual works. You just have make sure you on the field, choose 'render file' in field view mode.
