I built the MCP Remote module to solve a production problem. I required Streamable HTTP transport and OAuth 2.1 discovery for remote web clients. The official MCP Server module now supports these features natively. Consolidating transport layers prevents fragmentation in the Drupal ecosystem.
The repository remains public for reference purposes only. You are free to copy pieces of code for your own projects.
