I'm trying to use the Javascript "Enable remaining characters countdown for this field" function to display remaining characters on a comment form. Whenever I attempt to select the option, it is always unselected when the page is reloaded. No counter is displayed as well. Any thoughts, ideas?

Yes the comment countdown is broken at the moment, there will be a new dev release soon!
