Hello,
I have installed the module per the included instructions. Tested it with a simple mass emailing and it worked correctly. Very nice.

However, one of the needed features was having it send an attachment and save that attachment to the server as a file listed on the node. The node is created for the email but the file is added to the node as an octet-stream in the body of the node instead of saving to the files section. This is not useful to our site since none of us read octet streams (chuckle). Is there a way to correct this error?

I just turned off send as HTML by default to see if that fixes it for the next mass-contact email but it will not be tested till the club secretary sends out minutes in two weeks from now.

dman posted a patch (http://drupal.org/node/160717) to fix this problem. I need to do a bit of testing, first, then I'll hopefully have this fixed in the next week or so, time permitting.

The patch turned out to not address the issue. I changed the way the attachment is saved to the node so that this will no longer be a problem. I've committed the changes to the head of the 2.x branch, and I plan on creating a new release soon.
