Hi All,

Input masks are not working on forms that are also using the field group module. I tested on a form that was not using any field groups and the input mask works fine. When I added an input mask to another form that was using field groups the mask did not work either within or outside of a field group on the form.

Thanks,

:Dee

Hmm, that's interesting. I'll try to take a look at that this weekend.

Hi helior,

Were you ever able to have a look at this?

Hello,
I am also having this issue...and on quick look, this conditional in maskedinput.js is not being met on forms with fieldgroups, even when this field is not in a group:

          if (config.elements[element].mask.length)

I hope this helps find a solution. I'll give it another pass when I have more time...

Hi! I'm not able to reproduce where this is breaking with Field Groups. I've tested against every field group formatter and all is working as it should. Are there any additional details someone can provide?

@invisibleink, thanks for looking into this! I have to ask though, are you configuring the "mask" value when you're editing the field settings? This is where you define what your mask will look like. For instance, if you wanted your users to provide a phone number in the format of (555) 555-1234, your mask would look like this "(999) 999-9999".

http://digitalbush.com/projects/masked-input-plugin/ has somewhat more documentation. And also, you can define your own custom mask definitions in the configuration page (admin/config/user-interface/maskedinput).

When this mask is not configured, it will skip execution for that element. I /should/ probably make it a required field, now that I think about it..

At any rate, please let me know if this helped either of you.
