Code committed to Drupal.org's git repositories must be licensed as GPL. That jQuery plugin is licensed as MIT.

Please do one of the following:

  1. Remove the code
  2. Get the author to relicense the code as GPL and comment here that he has done so

PS - Without that file are people able to use the -dev without problems? Doesn't seem to be the case with me. Field creation turns the page blank with the admin menu lower barrier separation stretching all the way down to the bottom of the browser.

Took me long enough :P But the 3rd-party library dependency has been removed from this project's repository and has been replaced with a drush make file to automatically download the library, a drush command to manually download the library from the command-line, and the usual "download to sites/all/libraries" message in the README.txt. This project now also has a dependency on the Libraries module (http://drupal.org/project/libraries)
