Implements part of the MapIt API to auto-tag administrative boundaries based on a lat+lon.
This allows users to set a lat+lon (For example using the Geofield module and an OpenLayers map), and this module will add the Administrative Boundary hierarchy to a taxonomy reference field on the same node.
The module is also able to populate additional fields on the taxonomy term eg. the boundaries of the Country/District in a geofield and wikipedia links.
The module supports other languages than english and will load the name of the Administrative Boundaries in the language that the site is installed in. (If available).
Example
If a user populates a geofield with the values
lat: 78.4270
lon: 12.1828
The Mapit module reaches out to Mapit, and finds 2 administrative boundaries: India and Dharmapuri.
It will check if these already exist and if not, create the terms in the correct hierarchy.
It then reaches out to OSM and downloads the polygon for them and populates the (configured) geofield on the terms with that. And it does the same with a URL field for the wikipedia page.
