I don't seem to be able to set a node type in the command defaults. It always reverts to article (the first content type alphabetically). The new functionality in #1178882: Move default commands from parser settings to source nodes seems a great idea (I'm doing multiple mailboxes with a content type each) but the "type: (machine name)" command doesn't seem to have any effect.

Has anyone had any success with it since the new version? Is it that the type is being set before the commands are being processed?

There is already an issue to allow commanding the content type: #1408484: Command plugin to provide dynamic input format mapping source
